News Feed Algorithm Update
Facebook’s latest update to the News Feed Algorithm will more strongly deprioritize Page content it deems to be spam or that attempts to game the feed by asking for likes, comments or shares.
Also, News Feed will now take into account engagement and discussion around topics in real time to prioritize content that might be temporarily more important, or relevant at a particular moment.
Search Ads are being tested with select partners with an aim of enabling advertisers to promote visual ads as consumers search for relevant products.
Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube had quiet news weeks with no announcements worth reporting.
